Grabe Stuns Filler in Thrilling Kamui Vegas Open Comeback Victory

Las Vegas, NV – In one of the most dramatic turnarounds of the 2025 Pro Billiard Series season, Denis Grabe stormed back from the brink to defeat Joshua Filler and capture the Kamui Las Vegas Open title, prevailing in a nail-biting shootout after dropping the first two sets.

Filler looked unstoppable early in the final, sweeping the opening sets 4–0 and 4–1, appearing poised to cruise to another championship. But Grabe had other plans. Digging deep, the Estonian star clawed back with a tight 4–3 third-set win, followed by a dominant 4–1 performance in the fourth to force a decisive shootout.

🔥 A Final for the Ages

The shootout showcased the unique drama of the Pro Billiard Series sets format, with both players trading successful shots under intense pressure. Filler nailed his first three, but a costly miss on his fourth attempt gave Grabe the opportunity he needed. With ice in his veins, Grabe buried the winning shot to seal an epic comeback victory.

“I never gave up,” Grabe said after the match. “Even when I was down two sets, I stayed focused. That’s what this format allows for—you’re never really out of it.”

With the win, Grabe takes home $37,500, while Filler earns $17,500 as the runner-up. The event featured a stacked 128-player field, underscoring the magnitude of Grabe’s achievement on one of the biggest stages in the Predator Pro Billiard Series calendar.
